This website and Carolina Hair Surgery will adhere to all legal privacy requirements, as well as make every effort possible to assure the privacy of information submitted to this website or contained in any of our patient files. If you are on our mailing list please be assured that we will not share our mailing list, including your e-mail address, under any circumstances with third parties. We accept and agree to all state and federal laws relating to the confidentiality of information provided by our patients and agree that personal information supplied to us by non-patients will be treated in a confidential manner as well. The confidentiality of all Dr. Vories patients is strictly protected. The patients featured on this Web site are volunteers who have given Carolina Hair Surgery their permission to appear.

Carolina Hair Surgery makes no representations about the suitability of the information and services for any purpose, and provides the information contained here for educational purposes only. Carolina Hair Surgery will not offer medical advice for treatment of medical disorders over the Internet by way of e-mail or direct contact. We apologize, but such requests cannot and will not be answered. Testimonial statements and photographs of Dr. Vories patients do not constitute a warranty or prediction of the outcome of your individual hair restoration. Individual results may vary. Privacy Policy:  We respect the confidentiality of any information, including your identity.  We honor or exceed legal requirements of medical/health information privacy in the United States.  We do not distribute, sell, or rent any of your personally identifiable information to any third parties.  Nor is any of your information, such as a Social Security number, shared with anyone unless you sign a consent form to allow the use of your personal information.

Fees Agreement, Payment, and Service Terminology

Surgical Services

Initial consultations, post operative visits which include the post-operative follow up and six month evaluation are included in the surgery fee.  If you are also a medically managed patient all office visits charges start after the first 6 months.   A Non-Refundable scheduling fee of 10% of the final surgery fee is required to secure a surgery date.   All remaining fees are due on the day of surgery in order to perform the surgery.  If a patient cancels a scheduled surgery after having paid in full, Carolina Hair Surgery retains sole discretion over whether to refund the fee minus the deposit based on the circumstances of the patient.

All surgery dates are based on a first deposit received, first surgery performed.
All surgery dates must be approved by Michael Vories, MD.
All pre-operative labs and tests requested by the physician are performed at the expense of the patient.
All pre-operative prescription medications are filled at the expense of the patient.
All intra-operative medications given are included in the surgical fee.
All post-operative prescription medications are filled at the expense of the patient.

Medical Services

Initial consultations for medical management (Finasteride) of hair loss are also performed at no charge.  Subsequent follow-up evaluations are performed at a cost of $120.00 per visit.  Medical follow-up visits are scheduled at the discretion of the physician, which are typically needed yearly to retain doctor / patient relationship.

Carolina Hair Surgery accepts only the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Personal Checks
  • Bank Cashiers Check
  • Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express
  • Financial Agreements from Care Credit

There is no insurance coverage for the procedure, office visits, or medication prescribed from Carolina Hair Surgery.  Carolina Hair Surgery does not file insurance claims with any carriers. Health Savings Accounts do not honor Hair Restoration Services as part of their coverage.

There is a No Refund Policy on hair restoration services provided by Carolina Hair Surgery.
