FUE Hair Transplant Results at 6 & 18 Months Post-Op

Seeing our patients' hair transplant results during their follow-up appointments at 6 and 18 months post-op is always exciting. The change in a patient's appearance and self-image can be transformative. With all patients, we work hard to match their expectations with the appropriate timeline for healing and hair growth. That being said, the human body has variables, and sometimes we are pleasantly surprised when things progress even faster than we anticipated.

This is a 60-year-old male patient who returned to our office six months after receiving 2000 FUE grafts to his frontal forelock/hairline. His hair growth was excellent, and as we see with all patients, the results only get fuller and thicker over the next year, as you can see in the 18-month post-op photos. Due to his hair loss being stable, Dr. Vories did not prescribe hair loss maintenance medication like finasteride.
